The wait is over for Forest Fest fans as organisers have announced their first slew of acts which will take to the stage in Emo in July.
Forest Fest is the latest of the major festivals to come out with an indication of their acts for the summer and they’re certainly not resting on their laurels.
The event, which takes place in Emo, proved a huge success in July for the past two years.
And plans are now firmly in place for the third edition which will run from July 19 to 21.
The indie pop anthems are going to ring out around the forest canopy of Emo village this summer.
The initial Forest Fest line-up reveal for next July features: The Human League, Ocean Colour Scene, The Devine Comedy, Dexys, Tony Hadley, King Kong Company, Paul Brady, The Undertones, Sharon Shannon, Jack L, Something Happens, DJ Jenny Greene, Hamsandwich, The Frank & Walters, Cathy Davey, Pogueology, The Outkast Crew, Kiera Dignam, The Valves, Risky Business and many more.
This is merely a taster, organisers say, with many more acts to follow including their very successful Fleadh stage and their new Ibiza Stage.
Tickets are still available with organisers confirming Early Bird availability is almost at an end.
They say: “There are only a few days left to snag early bird weekend and day tickets! Secure yours before prices jump to €190 for the weekend and €85 for a day.
“Don’t forget day tickets are your all-access pass for any day of the weekend.
“You can transfer Day pass to your preferred day once Day Lineups have been released.”
