The St Abban’s Athletics Club AGM will take place on Monday, January 15.
The AGM will begin at 8pm and will be held in the St Abban’s clubhouse.
The club has urged all members to come along and have their say in the running of St Abban’s for this year.
“The AGM provides the club with the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our athletes and the volunteers who help to make the club so successful,” a club representative said.
But before that, the club still has a busy month ahead, starting tonight, Monday, January 8.
The st Abban’s Couch to 5k will begin tonight – and every Monday and Wednesday evening after that.
The Couch to 5k runs from 7.30pm to 8.30pm at a cost of €3.
It takes place at the St Abban’s track in Monavea, Crettyard R93 WA24.
The club will also be hosting their annual Quiz Night on Friday, January 19, at 8.30pm.
The quiz will be held in Behan’s Pub R93 CF53 at a cost of €40 per table of four.
There will be cash prizes for the top three teams as well as some refreshments served as well.
