Joseph (Joe) Delaney, Crossard, Wolfhill, Athy, Co. Kildare in Portlaoise Hospital, surrounded by his loving daughters Geraldine, Christina and Sinead. Predeceased by his wife Sheila, daughter Margaret, and his grandson Fionn. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Geraldine, Christina and Sinead, his sisters and brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his daughter Geraldine’s residence, 1 New Park, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, on Friday the 5th of January from 4pm until 8pm with prayers at 7:30. Funeral arriving to The Church of SS Mary and Laurence Crookstown on Saturday the 6th for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Irish Guide Dogs Association. Donation box in church.

Bertie Mulhall, Roskelton, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 3rd January 2024 (unexpectedly), at St. James’s Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Arabella and Robert, brothers John, George, Richard, Martin and Eddie, sister Mabel and Gladys. Sadly missed by his sisters Nowell and Joan, brother-in-law Paul, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath (eircode R32Y661) on Friday 5th January from 6 o’clock, concluding with Funeral Prayers at 7.30 p.m. Removal on Saturday afternoon to Roskelton Church (eircode R32RR77) for Funeral Service at 3 o’clock, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Suddenly at his residence. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Carina, sons Stephen and Noah, father P.J., mother Ann, sister Karen, brother-in-law Paul, sister-in-law Nicola, nephews Tadhg, Oisín and Fionnán, parents-in-law P.J. and Jean, uncles, aunts, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
The family would like to thank you for your help and understanding at this sad and difficult time.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Wednesday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Beloved son of the late Christy and Brigid Parkinson and dear brother of the late Robert.
Former Employee Central Garage Mountmellick.
