As we embrace the Christmas season and bid farewell to another remarkable year, it’s time to celebrate the heartwarming stories and festive experiences that have graced our haven in the past week.
Last weekend was nothing short of enchanting at Solas, with our craft markets and Santa’s Grotto witnessing a remarkable sell-out success.
The charm of the season was further intensified by the cheerful crowds that flocked to the garden centre.
A delightful festive buzz permeated the air, accompanied by the sweet sounds of live music, the warmth of mulled wine, and the twinkle of Christmas lights.
Solas transformed into an enchanting party destination where joy knew no bounds.
In the midst of this holiday fervor, we must pay a special tribute to Lucy Levio, our beloved Elf 101, whose unwavering dedication shone brighter than Rudolph’s nose.
Lucy’s stellar performance in welcoming families, managing bookings, and even braving the cold at our grotto entrance deserves an applause heard far and wide.
Co-owner John Carey expresses his heartfelt gratitude, saying: “I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us over the past year.
“We appreciate the business and the great community atmosphere here at Solas.”

Nothing is more festive than a Gingerbread latte, homemade cookie and a mouthwatering Turkey and ham ciabatta made with G Jam’s cranberry sauce. Come and try them all and much more in Solas Food Court.
We have a delicious treat for all ages, from flavoured hot drinks, hot chocolates full of marshmallows, homemade cookies at a special price and many freshly baked mince pies.

Suitably mild weather is install to everyone who visits SOLAS this weekend.
Temperatures are due to drop no lower than 7 degrees making conditions perfect for frequenting our markets and santa grotto.
