Portlaoise College have launched their new soccer jerseys which are sponsored by Joe Delaney of Boom and Platform Hire LTD and Thomas Carroll, Electrical Contractor.
This exciting collaboration marks a significant milestone for the school’s soccer teams and highlights the commitment to the development of girls’ soccer within the school.
The eye-catching jerseys, adorned with the school’s home and away colours and proudly displaying the logos of Boom and Platform Hire LTD and Thomas Carroll, bring a fresh look to the girl’s soccer teams.
The sponsorship demonstrates the strong support from local businesses toward fostering athletic excellence and team spirit among the students.
The jerseys had their first outing this week as the U-17 girls played cross-town Scoil Chríost Rí, emerging victorious 6-2 after a tough contest.
There were excellent defensive performances across the park, in a performance marked by team spirit and communication throughout with some new players to the game making a strong impact from the bench.
Principal Noel Daly expressed his gratitude for the generous sponsorship.
