Predeceased by her husband John-Joe, and brother Joe. Sadly missed by her adoring family, Joanne, Michael, Mags (Maggie), Ned and Brendan (Duxie), sons-in-law Jimmy and Kurt, daughters-in-law Lisa, Gillian and Andrea, grandchildren Kayne, Georgia, John-Joe, Mikey, Brady, Casey, Logan, Ciaràn, Mackenzie, Sophia, Rylee, Jason, Oscar, Freya, Colby, Mila and nanny Nancy to Kevin, Frankie and Corey, brother Donie, sister Mary, sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Seamus, nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her daughter Mags’ residence, Ballagh, Eirrill (Eircode R32 E6AO) on Tuesday evening from 4 o’clock, pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock. Reposing at her son Brendan (Duxies’) residence 19 Derrywood, Durrow (Eircode R32 E795) on Wednesday evening from 4 o’clock, pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballacolla, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by interment in Bordwell Cemetery Clough, Co Laois. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Prague House Care Home Freshford or Friends of Castlecomer District Hospital.

Peacefully at Portlaoise Midlands Hospital on Monday 4th of December.
Sadly missed by his daughters, Brenda, Theresa, Jacquie and Roisin, son Martin, brothers Pat and Albert, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Beatrice, in-laws, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home Borris on Tuesday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral to arrive at the Church Of The Holy Trinity, Goresbridge for Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Joseph (Joe) Cooke, Crannagh, Mountrath, Co. Laois. December 4th 2023. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Roscrea. Deeply regretted by his brother Fr. Walter, his good friend Paddy, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Guilfoyles Funeral Home Castletown eir code R32TN84 this Tuesday evening (December 5th) from 4pm with removal at 7.15pm to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown for funeral prayers at 7.30pm.
Funeral Mass this Wednesday morning (December 6th) at 11pm with burial immediately afterwards in Aghaboe Cemetery.

Formerly of Ballinabrackey, County Meath. Peacefully, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife of the late Hugh and dear mother of the late Gráinne. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother Jimmy, sister Eilish , in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at her residence (eircode R32 PE08) on Monday and Tuesday from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm on both evenings. Removal on Wednesday morning at 11am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Muiris passed away suddenly in his home on Thursday the 30th of November. He was pre-deceased by his father Maurice. Beloved son of Ann and brother of Joseph, Fergal and Aidan. Muiris will be sadly missed by his loving family, his sisters-in-law Assumpta and Paula, his nieces Tara and Kiera, his nephews Michael, Sean, Vincent and Anthony, his aunts Kathleen, Mary, Betty and Maureen and his uncles John Joe, Pat and Matthew, his extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Tuesday 5th from 6pm. Recital of the rosary at 7.30pm. Removal on Wednesday 6th, at 10.30am to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis, arriving for 11am requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Rosenallis Cemetery.
Mary McGrath (née Kennedy)

McGRATH (née Kennedy) Mary (Josie), late of Mountrath, Co.Laois and Terenure, Dublin. 1st December 2023, (Peacefully) in Tallaght Hospital, surrounded by her loving sons. Beloved wife of the late Thomas and loving mother to John, Tom and Seamus. Pre-deceased by daughter-in-law Catherine. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters-in-law Mary, Margaret and Kathleen, grandchildren Paul, Stephen, John, Claire, Tom, Conor, Sarah and Matthew, great-grandchildren Ben, Oscar and Luke, niece Judith, extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.
