Rice, Peter (Churchlands, Mayglass, Co. Wexford and late of Portlaoise), November 20, 2023, beloved father of David and Janette, father-in-law of Michelle and Andre, brother of Gretta, the late Paul and Clement; sadly missed by his family, grandchildren Sean, Dáire and Aoife, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in his son David’s residence (Y35 DH59) on Friday from 3pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Fintan’s Church, Mayglass, burial afterwards in Mayglass Cemetery. Mary Bridget (Maureen) Delaney (née McDonald)

Mary Bridget (Maureen) Delaney (nee McDonald) 31 Kirwan Park, Mountmellick R32PN28 died November 20th 2023 in her 102nd year at home in the company of her devoted family.
Dearly beloved wife of the late Frank. Formerly of The Cottage 2 Railway View, Mountmellick. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Alice McDonald, sisters Christina Coss, Bridie McDonald, brothers Mikey, Peter, Johnny and Paddy.
Deeply regretted by her son John, daughters Ursula and her husband John and Catherine, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
Maureen will repose in her home on Wednesday evening from 7pm. Recital of The Rosary at 9pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning at 10.30am to St.Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St.Joseph’s Cemetery. Family time on Thursday morning.

Grace Boran (née Gahan)
Ballickmoyler, Carlow / Ballickmoyler, Laois
Grace Boran, (née Gahan), Ballinagall, Ballickmoyler, Carlow and formerly Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully, on November 18th, 2023 at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of the late Michael, much loved mother of Marie and Lorraine and loved mother-in-law of Dave, adored grandmother of Emily-Rose and Cameron-Michael, cherished sister of Mary, Bridie, Saiveen, Willie, Pat, Eddie, John, Ann and the late James and treasured sister-in-law of Eileen Boran Rice.
She will be very much missed by her loving daughters, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing for close family and friends at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow from 6pm on Thursday with prayers at 8.45pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Friday in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles at 11am, followed by a private cremation in Mt Jerome Crematorium, Dublin.

John O’Neill
Glenour, Adamstown, Wexford / Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / Portlaoise, Laois
John passed away on 20th November 2023 peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (nee Colton) and his parents Tommy and Kitty O’Neill. Beloved father of Ivan, Audrey, Brenda and Thomas. John will be sadly missed by his family, sisters Anne, Mary, Kay and Brenda, son-in-law Joe, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Jenny, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Wednesday (22nd Nov) from 4.30pm to 8pm with Rosary at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 10.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny (R95ND2W). Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

Margaret (Peggy) Dunphy, nee Henderson, The Mill, Upper Oldtown, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, November 20th. 2023 peacefully at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Joe, brother Martin, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Sadly missed by her daughter Betty, son Michael, daughter-in-law Ann, son-in-law Pat Joe, grandchildren Michelle and Colm, Colm’s wife Jenny, sister-in-law Lynda, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence (Eircode R32 A253) today Monday and tomorrow Tuesday from 4 o’clock pausing for prayers at 8 o’clock both evenings. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Tighernach’s Church, Cullohill arriving for Requiem mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
