Maurice Bates, Laurel Hill, Coolrain, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 13th November 2023 peacefully, at his home after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Mary, and his brother Paul.
Sadly missed by his sons Paul and Fergal, daughters Mary and Frances, his 8 grandchildren, brother John, sister Maureen, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath (eircode R32Y661) on Tuesday, 14th November, from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 9.0’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning from his home (Laurel Hill) to St. Fergal’s Church Camross (eircode R32VY79), for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by Burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Jackie, son Raymond, grandson Stephen and sister Aileen. Deeply regretted by her loving family Rosaleen, John and Donal, brothers Paddy and John, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Jo and Jennifer, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at her residence (eircode R32 W300) on Tuesday from 4pm and Wednesday from 3pm with Rosary on both evenings at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday from 12 midday to 7pm with Rosary recital at 7. Requiem mass on Wednesday at 11am in St Peter and Paul’s Church, Monasterevin followed by burial in St Evins Cemetery.

Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by his family. Pre deceased by his parents Patrick and Christina, brothers Johnny and Francis.
Michael will be sadly missed by his wife Teresa, son Mark, daughter Amanda, daughter in law Shanice, son in law Bradley, grandchildren Sophia and Sienna, brothers Gerry and Kevin, sisters Julie and Mary, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore, on Monday from 4pm until Rosary at 6.30pm. Removal from his home on Tuesday morning at 9.30am to the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial after Mass in Clonminch Cemetery, Tullamore.

Bridie (Bid) Culleton, nee Carroll, Coolaboughlan, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died on the 10th of November 2023, peacefully, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Joe. Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Geraldine and Bernadette, and cherished grandmother to Aaron, Conor, Ronan, Corrinne and Ewan. Deeply regretted by her niece Doreen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Peacefully at Mountmellick Community Care Hospital in the company of her family and in the loving care of the hospital staff. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Phil. Beloved wife of the late Christy (cattle dealer and publican). Deeply regretted by her loving family Christy, Kevin, Pat and Leo, her eight grandchildren and her eleven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, daughter-in-law Theresa, son-in-law Kevin, neighbours, relatives and her many friends.
