Gardai are investigating after windows were smashed in an incident at a house in Portlaoise on Tuesday evening.
The incident in question occurred around 9.30pm on November 7 in the Birch Grove area of the town.
LaoisToday understands that the front door window and sitting room window were smashed in.
It is believed that a hammer was found at the scene and two to three males were spotted.
They are said to have been travelling in a silver car at the time.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that an investigation is underway.
They said: “Gardaí received report of an incident of criminal damage that occurred at approximately 9:30pm on Tuesday, 7th of November 2023 in the Birch Grove area of Portlaoise, Co Laois.
“No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”
