The sports department in Scoil Chríost Rí are running a fundraiser to purchase new equipment for their various sporting activities.
They are running a raffle with prizes ranging from two Electric Picnic tickets to a spa weekend at the Heritage Hotel.
The school provide ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams in most sports, and even ‘C’ teams in basketball and volleyball.
The fundraiser is to help offset basic expenses, such as travel costs and equipment.
Scoil Chríost Rí also hope to raise enough money to purchase full-sized, portable GAA goals as the school currently share the use of the GAA pitch CBS Portlaoise.
The fundraiser comes in the form of a raffle, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including:
- A full weekend ticket for SOLD OUT 2024 Electric Picnic,
- Two tickets to see singer-songwriter, Olivia Rodrigo,
- A spa weekend for two in the Heritage Hotel, Killenard,
- A treatment voucher for Willow Lodge, Portlaoise,
- and many more as well.

Closing date for entry is Sunday, December 10, at 9pm.
