The October Bank Holiday weekend saw the very popular Pumpkin Patch event take place in the GAA grounds of Clonad once again.
This was the fourth staging of the Pumpkin Patch and organisers produced a splendid weekend.
It all began back in 2019 and then it was put off in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, hundreds flocked to Clonad in 2021 and 2022 when the event returned and a similar crowd was there again this year.
Once again, admission was free and the only charge was for whatever pumpkins patrons took away.
Portlaoise Plaza sponsored hampers and fuel vouchers for best dressed over the weekend.
A spokesperson for the event said: “We were blown away by the support despite pretty harsh conditions.
“Thank you all for visiting and braving the weather together. We had a blast, we hope you did too.”
