Formerly of Mountrath County Laois. Peacefully. Sadly missed by her loving family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday afternoon at 1:20pm arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath arriving at 4:15pm.

Daniel (Dan) Whelan
Green Roads, Ballybrophy, Laois
Daniel (Dan) Whelan, Green Roads, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois, October 17th. 2023, peacefully at the Midland’s Regional Hospital, Portlaoise in the company of his family. Predeceased by his brother Seán and sisters Statia and Maureen. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Kathleen, loving sons Owen, Brian, Donal and Michael, daughters-in-law Nicola, Julia, Deirdre and Donal’s partner Angie, his adoring 11 grandchildren, brothers and sisters Harry, Bill, Rita (Arrigan), Eileen (White) and Kathleen (Elson), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Friday evening from 5.30pm pausing for prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Canice’s Church, Borris-in-Ossory arriving for Requiem mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in The Church of the Assumption Cemetery, Killasmeestia. Family flowers only please.
John (Johnny) Callaghan
Trumera, Mountrath, Laois
John (Johnny) Callaghan, Trumera, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 18th October 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Ann. Deeply regretted by his devoted wife Peg, sons Séan, Fintan, Michael, Declan and Patrick, daughters Mary, Margaret, Breda, Martina and Linda, 24 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Mick Farrell, sister-in-law Bridie Masterson, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath on Thursday (October 19th) from 5 o’clock, concluding with Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Friday (October 20th) to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Raheen.

Formerly of Fews Kilmacthomas, County Waterford.
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by her parents Billy and Mary Power, baby brother Maurice, sons-in-law Séamus and Robert. Beloved wife of Billy and much loved and sadly missed by her loving family Jean, Eddie, Una and Noel, sister Bride, brothers James, Nicky and Liam, daughters-in-law Carol and Sinead, partners Paul and Tom, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends and by all who knew and loved Joan.

Perie Keegan
Portlaoise, Laois / Crumlin, Dublin
Keegan Perie, 16th October 2023, (late of Portlaoise and formerly of Old County Road, Crumlin and Cabra), suddenly at his home surrounded by his loving friends. Beloved husband of Carol and devoted dad of Steven and Daniel, pre-deceased by his loving partner Joan. Perie will be forever loved and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and their partners, grandchildren Alvey and Nina, his caring sister Lily, brothers, the Smithers family, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 177 Crumlin Road, D12 F864 on Thursday at 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning at 10am in St. Agnes’ Church, Crumlin, D12 KC99 followed by Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium due at 11:30am.
