County final fever brings huge excitement to all areas – and Friday saw us visit our fifth school of the week.
Pupils in St Colman’s NS in Stradbally have interest in no fewer than three of the four finals scheduled for this weekend.
Tonight sees Annanough take on The Harps in the Junior A final in O’Moore Park at 7.30pm.
And with no school in Vicarstown, the majority of the children who play for Annanough go to St Colman’s and were there in great numbers today.
Stradbally will take part in the first ever Senior B final on Saturday in O’Moore Park at 5.30pm.
They face The Heath and are likely to receive a huge support from St Colman’s if the amount wearing green today is anything to go by.
Sunday brings another final for the children to get excited about and this is one that they can all get behind.
Stradbally Parish Gaels will take on St Joseph’s in the Minor final at 1.30pm in O’Moore Park.
And there was plenty of slagging today too as Mr Brian Brennan, who proudly wore his St Joseph’s colours, is the manager of the St Joseph’s minors.
