Portlaoise College’s recent Open Nights saw the Mountrath Road school thronged with eager 6th-class students and their parents.

The events showcased the school’s commitment to academic excellence, and its vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.

Both nights opened with an address from Principal Noel Daly before the crowd heard from current parents and student representatives.

Visitors were welcomed with a warm sense of community as they explored the state-of-the-art facilities and engaged with students who showcased their subjects as visitors toured the building.

The presentations by teachers and current students gave a glimpse into the diverse range of subjects on offer at Junior and Leaving Certificates.

Prospective students also got a glimpse into the extensive extracurricular activities available at the school.

The evening was a testament to the college’s dedication to providing a well-rounded education.

With an electric atmosphere, Portlaoise College’s Open Nights not only inspired prospective students but also reinforced its reputation as a centre of educational excellence.
