Congratulations to Laois Chamber Alliance member Blacknight Solutions who recently celebrated their 20th anniversary.
Over the last two decades, Blacknight has supported the growth of the tech sector in Ireland through their services, bringing Irish businesses online and making them competitive on the world stage.
Chambers Ireland recently hosted a pre-Budget event with Chambers from across the country and Oireachtas representatives.
Laois Chamber Alliance was represented at this event, discussing the Chambers Ireland Pre Budget Submission with our Oireachtas representatives.
Congratulations to Laois County Council and MidlandsIreland.ie, ”A Digital Roadmap to Promote the Midlands region” has been shortlisted in the Communications category for this year’s Chambers Ireland Local Government Awards.
Over 25,000 students from approximately 500 second level schools nationally expected to take part in the Student Enterprise Programme.
Students from 1st to 6th year can enter in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories.
Congratulations to Cellnex Ireland, winners of the 2023 Laois Chamber Alliance Golf Classic recently in The Heritage Golf Resort, Killenard.
The Cellnex Ireland team will now go on to represent Laois at the Chambers Ireland All Island Golf Classic in The K Club in October.
Attention all hikers! Laois Chamber Alliance member Choice People are looking for volunteers to participate in a 10km hike in the scenic Slieve Bloom Mountains.
The hike will be on Sunday, October 8, at 10am to raise funds for Laois Domestic Abuse Service.

Attention all exporters – Further changes are coming on 31 January 2024 due to Brexit.
The UK, excluding Northern Ireland, is due to introduce new import declaration requirements and checks on certain goods, including food and other agricultural products.
These are in addition to existing customs formalities and other requirements. If your business exports to the UK, you now should examine your supply chains to make sure they are ready for these changes.
