Patrick (Pat) Gill, Harp Road, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, formerly Deans Grange/Whitechurch Hill, Ballyboden, Dublin16, September 14th. 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son David, his parents May and Andy, his sister Margaret, his brothers-in-law Peter and Franko and his nephew Deano. Deeply regretted by his love wife Pauline, adoring children Andrew, Padraig, Sinead, Lorna and Martin, daughter-in-law Samantha, grandchildren Ciarán, Oisín, Diarmuid and Aideen, sisters Catherine, Ann and Dolores, brother John, sister-in-law Cathy, brothers-in-law, Seán, Matt, Noel and Mike, uncle Henry, aunts Pat and Dolores, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence (Eircode R32 E6C2) on Friday afternoon from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Removal on Saturday afternoon to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem mass at 2 o’clock followed by burial in the local cemetery, Rathdowney. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Laois Palliative Care and the Irish Cancer Society (night nurses).
Margaret Duggan (née McEvoy)
Dublin rd., Portlaoise, Laois / Ballybrophy, Laois
Margaret (Maggie) Duggan (née McEvoy) Dublin Road, Portlaoise and formerly of Kilcoke, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois. Died peacefully on 13th September 2023 in the loving presence of her family and in the care of the staff of The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Dearly loved wife of Dan.Cherished mam to Ann, John (R.I.P), Liam, Cyril and Noeleen. Lovingly missed by sons-in-law Eamonn and Barry, daughters in law Anna, Marie and Angela, her beloved grandchildren; Eoghan, Kevin, Shane, Darragh, Erica, Ronan, Emma, Cian, Caoimhe, Ríona, Cathal, Róisín, Sinéad and great grandchild Arthur. Also sadly missed by her brother and sister in law Fintan and Mary, nieces, nephews, cousins, her former colleagues in St. Fintan’s Hospital and her many friends.
Predeceased by her loving son John, her brothers Billy and Seán, sisters Mollie, Judy and Bridie.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on this Friday evening from 5.30pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal from her residence at 11.30 a.m. Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls Church for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery, Portlaoise.

Formerly of Cloghan, County Offaly. Ex E.S.B. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St Brigid’s Hospital Shaen, Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Cissie), son Noel grandchildren Aoife, Emer and Joshua and sister Marion Doyle (Kilcormac County Offaly). Deeply missed and loved by his wife Ethna, daughters Jacqueline, Anne, Tina, Terri and Fiona, sons, Tony, Sean, Seamus and Pat, stepdaughters Fiona and Aisling, brother Peter (Lumcloon Cloghan County Offaly), his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 E958) on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11:10am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.
