Formerly of Cloghan, County Offaly. Ex E.S.B. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St Brigid’s Hospital Shaen, Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Cissie), son Noel grandchildren Aoife, Emer and Joshua and sister Marion Doyle (Kilcormac County Offaly). Deeply missed and loved by his wife Ethna, daughters Jacqueline, Anne, Tina, Terri and Fiona, sons, Tony, Sean, Seamus and Pat, stepdaughters Fiona and Aisling, brother Peter (Lumcloon Cloghan County Offaly), his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 E958) on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11:10am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Marcel Gajdok, Cono Boro Road, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly The Czech Republic, suddenly at his residence. Deeply regretted by his loving family both here in Ireland and The Czech Republic, neighbours, extended family and his work colleagues at the Bacon factory Roscrea.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Private Cremation takes place on Thursday.
Michael Francis (Mike) Kirkpatrick
Corrig Lodge, Portarlington, Laois
Formerly of Liverpool. Suddenly. Sadly missed by his loving son Greg, partner Sharon, brother Austin and his wife Joyce, sister Liz and her husband Arnie, sister Marion, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington (Eircode R32 X5XV) on Tuesday evening 12th September from 6pm with Prayers at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning 13th September at 11:15am arriving the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium for Funeral Service at 1pm followed by Cremation.
