Passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the staff in Brookhaven Nursing Home Ballyraggett, Co. Kilkenny.
Predeceased by her husband Sean, her sisters Mary Jo and Bernie and her brother John. Sadly missed by her family Mary, Bernie, John, Joan, Anthony and Michael, sons-in-law Liam and Paul, daughter-in-law Ursula, grandchildren, Sarah, Nate, Jenny, Michael, Joan, Kevin, Georgina, Hannah, James, Leonora, Ania, Grace, Robyn, Patrick, Harry and Charlotte, great grandchildren Finley and Oliver, her sister Rita and brother Joseph, sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary Murnane (née O’Shea), 80 Maher Road, Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away, peacefully, on August 16th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of the late Jimmy (Terrazza), much loved mother of Ken, James, Catherine, Jennifer and the late Gerard and cherished grandmother of the late Ger Jnr.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Pat, daughters-in-law Helen, Bridget and Sandra, brother Sean, sister Chrissie Dowling, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, on Friday, August 18th, from 12 noon, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from there on Saturday at 10.45am to St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow, for burial.

Reposing in Kennedy’s Funeral Home Freshford, Eircode R95 C44T, on Friday evening from 5pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm, followed by removal to St. Bridget’s Church, Lisdowney R95 VX79. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Aharney Cemetery.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow, Thursday, 17th Aug., from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday to St. Margaret’s Church for 11am funeral mass and burial afterwards to The Ward Cemetery.

Peacefully at University College Hospital, London, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Antoinette and loving father to sons Patrick, James, Danny, John, Joseph, Michael and daughters Anne, Katie, Alana and Erin. Wonderful grandad to Chloe, Sofia, Isabel, James, Matthew, Maryrose, Christopher, Olivia, Raphi, Cadhla, and Sheila. Predeceased by his sisters Bridget and Sadie, he will be sadly missed by his brother Richard his son and daughters-in-law, close relatives extended family, neighbours and friends. An Abbeyleix boy at heart. Jim will be deeply missed and always remembered for his love, kindness and humour.
Reposing in the Church of The Most Holy Rosary on Friday, 18th August, from 5pm. to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Conor Murray, Parnell Crescent, Portlaoise, 13th August 2023. Unexpectedly at his residence. Dearly missed by his loving partner Leanne, his adoring children Bobby, Evie, and Fiadh, his heartbroken mother Siobhan, his brother Sean, sisters Aoife, Kayleigh and Mollie, brother Kevin (Rip). Siobhan’s partner Chris, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, cousins and friends.
Reposing at his mum’s home at Parnell Crescent on Thursday from 2 pm, with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Friday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
Carol Hanlon (née Zimmerman)

Carol Hanlon (nee Zimmerman), Castlefleming, Errill, Co. Laois and formerly New Zealand. 13th August 2023. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice. Predeceased by her husband John. Sadly mourned by her family, her father Don, sisters Leonie, Patrice, Michelle and brother Greame, John’s son Patrick, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours.
A celebration of Carol’s life will take place at 1pm on Friday 18th August at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney, Co. Laois (R32 NY24) (livestreaming will be available on https://youtube.com/c/AllisonRitchieChurchSinger) and burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery Errill.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his daughter Julie, parents Molly and Charlie, stepfather Jamesie, brother Louis and sisters Brigid and Breda. Geraldine Dunne, England and formerly of Castletown, Co. Laois. July 26th 2023. Predeceased by her Father Tim. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her mother Collette, her sons Connor and Robbie, her brothers Larry, Gerry and her twin brother David, her sister Bernie (Gaughan), uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, Geraldine’s extened family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Geraldine’s funeral service and cremation will take place this Thursday (Aug 17th) in England.

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Hannah, brothers Timothy and John, sister Siobhan and her daughter Mary (Buckley). Deeply regretted by his brother Frank, sister in law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews, extended family, relatives, past pupils, friends and especially by his confreres in religion and the staff in Miguel House.
Reposing in Miguel House this Tuesday (Aug. 15th) from 11am with evening prayers and rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (Aug. 16th) at 2pm in the Monastery Chapel with burial immediately afterwards in the Monastery Cemetery.
