The unexpected death has occurred of our most adored mam, Sheila Grehan (nee McGuirk), Four Roads Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Predeceased by her loving parents Robert and Nora McGuirk. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Seamus (Jimmy) Grehan, her loving daugherts Janet and Amy, her beloved sons James, Gary and Eoin, Her most precious grand children, Kaitlyn, Erika, Tori, Belle, Paige, Noah and Mila and her adored great grand daughter Bonnie. Deeply regretted by her son-in-law Colum and her daughter-in-law Heike, her beloved sisters and brothers, Robert, Nora, Billy, Mag, John, Betty, Peter, Eugene, Deirdre, Declan, Bernadine and Fergal. Sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and many friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Saturday from 4pm. Recital of the rosary at 6pm. Removal on Monday morning via O’Moore Street to St Paul’s Church, Emo, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the new cemetery.

Anne O’Dwyer
Grenville, Portlaoise, Laois / Borrisoleigh, Tipperary
Late of Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary. Pre-deceased by her father Denis, mother Maureen, sister Margaret, and brother Denis. Sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
Funeral Mass on Sunday morning, 13th August, at 11.30am in St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, Carlow. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Funeral arriving at 2.30pm approximately. No flowers, please, donations, if desired, to Poor Clare Convent Graiugecullen, Carlow.
Ronan McNamara
Upper Fossy, Timahoe, Laois
Ronan McNamara, Fossey Upper, Timahoe, Co. Laois. Died tragically on August 9th 2023. Dearly loved son to his heartbroken parents Paul and Yvonne. Cherished brother to Orlaith. Loving grandson to Pat and Margaret Smyth, Adrian and Irene McNamara. Deeply regretted by his loving family, uncles, aunts, cousins, players and coaches at Portlaoise Rugby Club, Parish Gaels GAA team and fellow students at Portlaoise CBS School.
Removal on Sunday from his family home to arrive at St Michael’s Church, Timahoe for 2 pm requiem mass. Interment will follow in St Michael’s Cemetery, Timahoe. The family would like to thank everyone for their understanding at this very difficult time. And respectfully wish that the family home will be private.
