Someone in Laois could be waking up to the news that they have won a quarter of a million Euro following last night’s Lotto draw.
Downey’s Centra, located on the Dublin Road in Portlaoise, posted on social media last night that they had sold a winning ticket.
They said: “€250,000 winning ticket sold in store don’t forget to check your tickets.”
The ticket in question was the only winner of the Lotto Plus 2 top prize.
The numbers drawn for this were: 1, 2, 12, 15, 24, 31 and the bonus number was 47.
While the identity of the winner is not yet known, the National Lottery have confirmed that the ticket was bought in Laois.
This is not the first time that Downey’s Centra have had a winning prize.
Back in 2021, they sold a scratch card where the lucky punter scooped €75,000.
This prize is even bigger and we hope the lucky winner is from Laois.
