Peacefully in the excellent care of the Matron and staff of Milford Hospice, Limerick after a short illness borne with great courage, dignity and humour.
Predeceased by her parents Kitty and Joe and her sisters Reenie and Noreen, and sister-in-law Margaret.
Deeply regretted by her sister Esther, brothers Joseph, TF and Gerard, sisters-in-law Carole and Marianne, brother-in-law Leo, nieces, nephews, relatives, her very good neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Tierney’s Funeral Home, Roscrea (E53 NY70) on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am from Tierney’s Funeral Home to St. Moula’s Church, Ballaghmore (R32 RC53) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Lakeglen, Portlaoise, Laois / Monasterevin, Kildare
Adams Christine (Diana) Lakeglen, Portlaoise. July 27th 2023. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of Dickie (Pat). Loving mother to Elizabeth, Julie, Richard, Joseph and Paul. Cherished grandmother to Lauren, Aaron, Donnacha, Jessica, Carina and Séan. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters, Mary and Susan, brother Pat, sons in law Raymond and Tony, daughter in law Catherine, nephews, nieces, relatives and neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at home on Friday from 2 pm, with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Mary Walsh (née Hoare), 4 Cappalug, Killeshin, Carlow and formerly 28 Lock House, Athy, Co Kildare, passed away peacefully, on July 25th, 2023, at Naas General Hospital, Kildare.
Beloved wife of Jerry, much loved mother of Jane, Pat and Michael (Mitch), adored grandmother of Molly, Hannah, Lucy, Lauren, Emma, Mikey, Padraic, Anna, Lily and the late Mathew, Joseph, Maeve and Hugo and cherished sister of Kathleen.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, Jane’s partner Jerry, daughter-in-law Catherine, Mitch’s partner Lisa, sister, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, on Thursday from 3pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm.
Removal from there on Friday morning at 11.30am to The Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Late of Sue Ryder Centre, Portlaoise, Laois. In the wonderful care of Marie and the Staff of Cloverlodge Memory Unit Athy. A much-loved sister of Josephine,Sean, Eamon and Michael and sister-in-law to Margo, Margaret and Dympna. Sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews her Brigidine Community and her friends.
Reposing in the Convent Chapel Abbeyleix this Wednesday from 4pm. to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 27th July, at 12 noon in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix. Interment afterwards in the Convent Graveyard.

McEvoy Keith, St Brigid’s Place, Portlaoise, July 21st 2023, unexpectedly. Son of the late Tommy and Alice McEvoy. Loving brother to Tommy, Marie, Michael, Sandra, Paddy. Loving father to Ross. Deeply regretted by his loving family, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass at 12 noon in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, on Wednesday. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Eamon Conroy, Graigue, Clonaslee, Co. Laois, died the 22nd of July 2023, suddenly and peacefully, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
Eamon will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sons Jason and Mark, his grandchildren Susan and Niamh, his brothers Sean and Mattie, his sisters Dolores, Bernadette, Rosaleen and Geraldine, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, aunts, uncles, his work colleagues at Maher’s Mills Clonaslee, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Heritage Centre, Main St, Clonaslee, on Thursday (27th July) from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm.

David Goode, Acragar, Mountmellick Died July 22nd unexpectedly at The Blackrock Clinic. Predeceased by his parents Noelie and Maureen Goode. Survived by: his wife Noeleen, children Elisa, Adam, Emmet, Dean and Erin, his thirteen grandchildren, his sister Lesley and brother Ken, his aunt Tud and uncle Bernie and all their partners and children.
Removal from his home on Friday morning arriving to St.Joseph’s Church Mountmellick for 10am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation Service at 12.30pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium. House private and please.

Jonathan McCowen, Brisbane. Formerly Station Road, Portarlington, Co. Laois. It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Jonathan “Micko” McCowen, after a long illness, bravely battled. Beloved husband and soulmate of Sherie, and adoring dad of Darcy and Riley. Predeceased by his parents, Jon and Marie McCowen. Johnny will be sadly missed every day by Sherie, Darcy and Riley, his sister Louise (Galway), his brothers Paul (Naas) and Mark (Poland), sisters-in-law Maureen and Ladda, niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his wide circle of friends at home and abroad.
Jonathan’s funeral service will take place at Our Lady of Graces Catholic Church, Carina on Tuesday, 1st August, 2023, commencing at 11.00am followed by burial at Mt Gravatt Cemetery. The funeral service will be livestreamed.
