The week that the hurling clubs of Laois have been waiting for is finally here – the start of the top championships in the county is upon us.
With the All-Ireland hurling final on Sunday, Laois GAA have tried to clear the schedule for that day.
As a result, the Senior hurling championship begins on Wednesday with matches on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
