James (Jim) O’Connell, 7 Erkina Court, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. 7th July 2023. Peacefully at home. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen and son Christopher, his brothers John and Bill, sister Mary and his parents.
Sadly mourned by his loving family Carol, Breda, Mary, Fran, Seamus, Michael and Edward, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his daughters residence 7 Erkina Court, Rathdowney, Co. Laois R32 XR29 on Sunday, 9th July, from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Monday 10th July at 11am in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney followed by interment in Bealady cemetery. House Private on Monday morning. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Laois/Offaly Palliative Care.

Bridget passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Paddy and her brothers Michael, John and Andy. Deeply regretted by her loving sons John and Andrew, daughters Liz (Jago), Kathleen (Sheridan) and Bernie and her loving grandchildren Sean, Oisín, Orla, Ruairi, Cormac, Eoghan, Kate, Sarah, Ella, Clodagh and Thomas, sisters Frances (Tierney) and Liz (Mahoney), sons-in-law Tom and Joe, daughters-in-law Alina and Siobhan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her son John and daughter-in-law Alina’s residence Moyanna Lodge, Vicarstown (eircode R32 A394) on Saturday from 12 noon with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Sunday at 1:30pm arriving Church of The Assumption, Vicarstown, for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to Moyanna Cemetery.
Michael Daly

In his 79th year. Predeceased by his infant son Michael, his parents James and Sarah (nee Likely). Deeply regretted by his heartbroken partner Anna, his daughters Sandra, Lynda, Tracey, Pamela and his son Gerard, their mother Sally and his grandchildren and great grandchild, his brothers Pat and Gerard his sisters Anne and Breedge, extended family, neighbours, relatives and a very large circle of friends and his beloved dog Jack.
Reposing at his home 1 Rathmoyle Road, Abbeyleix on Saturday, July the 8th, from 2pm, with Rosary at 8pm. Removal from his home on Sunday at 10.30.am. to the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix for 11am. Requiem Mass. Cremation service will take place on Monday at 12 noon in Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin.

(Former Laois County Councillor). Husband of the late Loretta (née O’Hara) and brother of the late Anna and Jimmy. Deeply regretted by his loving children Aisling, Caragh, Georgina, Robert and Marc, brothers Billy, Michael and Larry, sisters Breda, Marian, Patricia, Noeleen, Collette and Eithne, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren , great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence from 12 noon on Friday afternoon (July 7th) with Rosary at 7pm. Removal at 11.30am on Saturday morning to arrive at St Abban’s Church Killeen for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Formerly of Ballylinan, Co. Laois. Predeceased by her parents Michael Snr. and Ellen. Much loved sister of Margaret, Michael Jnr., Martin, Denis and Pat. Deeply regretted by her loving family, nieces and nephews, the residents and the loving staff at Beech House, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home in Beech House, on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm with rosary recital at 6pm. Removal on Sunday morning at 10.30am, to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan for 11.30am requiem mass, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully, at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, 6th July 2023. Pre-deceased by his parents Bridget and James, his sister Maureen, his brothers Martin and Rev. Séamus SAC.
Beloved husband of Catherine and much loved father of James, Sarah, Kate, David, Michael, Kieran, Robert and Evana. Deeply missed by his brothers Tommy and Pat and his sisters Esther and Mary RSM, his children’s spouses and partners, grandchildren Grace, Anna, Tom, Robyn, Hugh, Sadie and Edra, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, kind neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at his home in Durrow (Eircode R32 T8R2) on Friday, July 7th from 3pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Holy Trinity, Durrow for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 8th July at 12 noon. Burial will follow afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Peter passed away peacefully in Sancta Maria Nursing Home, Kinnegad. He is predeceased by his son Peter Junior. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family; wife Mary, children Jacquie, Kaery, Michelle and Simon, grandchildren Pierre, Cealan, Kieran, Cheyenne, Jenny and Michael, sons-in-law Bradie and Richard, daughter-in-law Aisling, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mary will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Nuala (Galligan) and son Pauric, cherished grandchildren Shannon, Louise, Michelle and Milla, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Jennifer, brother Vincent and sisters Patricia, Phyl, Eilish, and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many good friends.
Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, College Street, Mullingar, on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to St. Matthew’s Church, Milltown, with reception at 7.30pm. Mary’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Thompson Adrian (London and late of Newbridge Co. Kildare and Mountmellick Co. Laois) on 5th April 2023. Son of Marion and the late Robert. Sadly missed by his mother, brothers Tom, Eric, Jonathan, Philip, family & friends in England and Ireland.
Memorial service will be held in Greystones Presbyterian Church, Trafalgar Rd., at 12 noon 8th July. Internment of ashes afterwards in Redford Cemetery (The Grove).
