The Community Heritage Grant Scheme supports local heritage
projects run by not-for-profit community/voluntary heritage
organisations and NGOs.
Funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and The Marine and administered by The Heritage Council, the Traditional Farm Buildings Grant Scheme supports the conservation and repair of traditional farm buildings and related structures.
The scheme also funds the conservation and repair of other related farm structures including historic yard surfaces, walls, gate pillars and gates.
The Historic Towns Initiative provides support for heritage-led
regeneration projects in historic towns. The initiative supports
conservation and enhancement projects, addresses vacant property issues in town centres and encourages the re-use of historic structures.
