Patrick Joseph (Paddy) Lawlor, 21 Pattison Estate, Mountmellick died June 25th unexpectedly in the loving care of The Staff at St. Vincent’s Community Care Centre Mountmellick. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret and family.

Mary Sadlier (nee Dowling), 24th June 2023. Sentry Hill, Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois R32 Y2Y3. Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Sadly mourned be her loving family, husband Frank, sons Paul, James and Frankie, daughter Aoife, their partners Susie, Davina and Rebecca, grandchild Billy, brothers John-Joe Dowling and Andy Dowling, sister-in-law Tina Dowling, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her residence Sentry Hill, Borris-in-Ossory (R32 Y2Y3) from 3pm with prayers at 8pm on Monday, 26th June. Funeral Mass in St. Canice’s Church, Borris-in-Ossory on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Derrinsallagh Cemetery Borris-in-Ossory.

Mary Burke, Erkina Court, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. 24th June 2023. Peacefully at Portlaoise Hospital. Predeceased by her brother Jim Burke. Sadly mourned by her son Martin Donohue (Abbeyleix), daughters Michelle (Ruske) Longford, Laura (Bergin) Lisduff Errill, grandchildren Kendall, Summer, Joe, Harry and Emily, brother Jack Burke, Martin, Harry and Caroline, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home on Monday from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney (www.parishwebsites/rathdowney.ie ) followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery. Family flowers only.
Gerard (Gerry) Conway
Avondale, Portarlington, Laois
Gerry passed away peacefully in the loving care of his family at home. Greatly missed by his loving wife Shirley, sons John, Malachy, Alleyn, Ivan and daughter Laura, son in law Paul, daughters in law Sinead and Róisín, grandchildren Oscar, Adam and Cate, his sister Angela, niece Michelle and nephew Ian, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Gerry will be reposing at his residence on Tuesday 27th from 4pm to 9pm, with recital of the Rosary at 7pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Director’s on Wednesday morning at 11.30 to arrive at Saint Michael’s Church Portarlington for 12 noon Requiem Mass, which can be viewed on https://www.mcmedia.tv/camera/st-michaels-church-portarlington
Interment will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery. House private on Wednesday morning please.

Ben Dollard Doran, Curraun, Clough, Ballacolla, Co. Laois. June 22nd 2023, suddenly at home. Sadly mourned by his loving family, father Gary, step-mother Debbie, brother Seán, sister Megan, mother Regina and her partner Martin, sister Ella, brother Nathan, grandparents Angela, Eugene, Geraldine and Sean, relatives, family and friends.
Reposing at his residence Curraun, Clough (R32 R3K1) on Saturday at 4pm with prayers at 8pm. Ben will be removed to his mother’s residence at 21 Station Avenue, Ballyragget (R95 PD73) on Sunday and will repose from 3pm with prayers at 5pm.
Funeral Mass at 11am in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyragget on Monday 26th and burial in Knockaroo Cemetery. You can express your condolences on the condolence page below. House private on Monday morning. Family flowers only.
