Derrymore, Portarlington, Laois / Naas, Kildare
Formerly of St Patrick’s Terrace, Naas County Kildare. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by his parents William and Audrey and brother Raymond (Johnny). Sadly missed by his loving wife Bríd, children James, Samanta, Christopher, Michael, Patrick, Mellnaa, Robert, Allanna, Bernard, Chloe, Philip and Katelyn and their partners, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 FP78) in Portarlington on Tuesday evening from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 9:10am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Removal afterwards (travelling via St Patrick’s Terrace, Naas) arriving Dardistown Crematorium for Cremation Service at 1:20pm.

Elizabeth (Lil) Murray
Derry, Rosenallis, Laois
Elizabeth (Lil) Murray (nee Ryan, Kyletelisha), Derry, Rosenallis died June 9th. Beloved wife of the late Liam. Deeply regretted by her loving family Syl (Abbeyleix), Des (Dublin), Denis (Dublin), Monica (Dunphy Rosenallis) grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, neighbours, relatives and her many friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Sunday from 4pm until 6pm. Recital of the Rosary at 5.30pm. Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church Rosenallis on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.
Sarah (Sadie) Purcell (née Shiel)
Ballinalacken, Attanagh, Laois, R32 YE97
The death has taken place of Sarah (Sadie) Purcell nee Shiel, Ballinalacken, Attanagh, Co. Laois.
She died peacefully in the Loving care of the staff of The Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband John, sons John Philip and Donal, her daughters Catherine and Marie.
Deeply regretted by her sons Kevin, John Joe and Philip, her daughters Bridie, Lena and Sarah, her sons-in-law and her daughters-in-law.
Sadly missed by her brother Dan (Canada), her sisters-in-law Nancy, Peggy and Joan, her Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and friends.
Reposing at her residence in Ballinalacken from 2pm Sunday 11th with Rosary at 7.30pm.
Removal monday 12th to St. Patricks Church Ballyragget for 1pm Requiem Mass followed by burial in Ballyouskill Cemetry.
House private Monday please.

Pat Redmond
Blackpool, UK and formerly, Portlaoise, Laois
The death has occured of Pat Redmond, son of Terry and Eenie Redmond, at his residence in Blackpool, UK on 9th May 2023.
Sadly missed by his sisters and brother, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Pauline Byrne (née Myles)

Formerly of Seskin View, Tallaght, Dublin. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore. Loving wife of the late Patrick (Paddy) and dear sister of the late Paddy. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Michael, Stephen and Anthony, sisters, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass in St Michael’s Church, Portarlington (eircode R32 HY38) on Tuesday morning, 13th June, at 10am. Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium for Committal Service at 12:30pm.
