Parents’ Association in small Laois school begins new fundraising initiative

The Parents’ Association in a small Laois school have set up a new fundraising initiative to help offset rising costs.

Killadooley National School, located approximately 6km from the village of Borris-in-Ossory, is currently home to five mainstream classes.

The school is a co-educational Catholic Primary School under the patronage of the Bishop of Ossory.

The Parents Association have set up a fundraising system of the funding platform, iDonate.

All monies raised will go towards subsidising activities such as swimming, school tours, extra curricular activities and to purchase equipment for use by the school.

“We have set a fundraising target of €5,000 and are hoping to get to the target before the raffle date of June 9th,” the PA said.

There will be a huge top prize of a €1,000 Center Parcs voucher for the lucky winner.
