Three weeks after being well beaten by Dublin in the Leinster quarter-final, the Laois footballers are back in championship action this Saturday.
They make the trip to Breffni Park to take on Cavan in the opening round of the Tailteann Cup.
It’s the second year of the new Tier 2 competition but it’s the first time for the group stages to be in play.
Laois begin away to Cavan, a side who won Division 3 of the National League but were well beaten by Armagh in the Ulster championship.
Steven and Alan chat about the match, how the Laois team is shaping up and hear from Paul Fitzpatrick, sports editor of the Cavan-based Anglo Celt newspaper.
Plus they discuss this week’s saga surrounding RTE, Virgin Media and GAA Go.
