Barry Dunton, Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny and formerly West Drayton, Middlesex, U.K. peacefully at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, April 29th. 2023. Predeceased by his loving wife Alice.
Deeply regretted by his sister-in-law Helen Muldowney, nieces and nephews Tara, Andrew, Michael and Lisa, their spouses Kevin, Brenda, Rachel and David, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, extended family and friends in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
In keeping with Barry’s wishes a private funeral and cremation will take place in the coming days.
Joseph Thompson
Rathcoole, Dublin / Abbeyleix, Laois
THOMPSON, Joseph – 28th April 2023 – Rathcoole, Co. Dublin & formerly of Ballacolla, Abbeyleix, Co Laois. Suddenly at home. Beloved husband of Susan, and much loved father to Lorraine and Sean. Joe will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his wife, daughter, son, grandchildren Freya and Rosa, brothers Sam, Robert and William, sisters Muriel, Florence and Dorothy , son in law Jonathan, daughter in law Elizabeth, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Joe’s service will take place on Saturday at 1pm in Newlands crematorium Temple followed by cremation. To view the service live at 1pm, please click here.
Sean (Dano) Baldwin
Ballymaddock, Stradbally, Laois
Sean (Dano) Baldwin, Ballymaddock, Stradbally, Laois, peacefully in the loving care of the Matron and her staff at Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally on the 1st May 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Julia, sisters Maureen and Angela. Very deeply regretted by his sisters Lucy, Judy and Margaret, brothers Tom, Gerry and Ollie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally from 5pm on Wednesday, 3rd May, with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place for Sean on Thursday, 4th May, at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally. Interment to follow in Kilteale Cemetery.
Anthony Egan
New Road, Portlaoise, Laois
Anthony Egan. Paulville New Road, Portlaoise. Died 30th April peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Betty, brothers Jimmy and Noel.
Deeply regretted by his loving brothers Paul, John and Ger, sisters Mary, Eilish and Siobhan. Sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, gran nieces, gran nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence on Tuesday from 4pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 12 noon Requiem Mass.

Mary (Molly) Scully (née Bergin)
Knocklyon, Dublin/Milltown, Dublin/Abbeyleix, Laois
Peacefully in the company of her loving family while in the tender care of the nurses and staff at Sally Park Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Daniel, son Patrick and daughter-in-law Evelyn.
Sadly missed and deeply regretted by her family, sons Gerard and Michael, daughters Anne, Mary and Jean, daughter-in-law Marian, sons-in-law Robbie, Harry and Paul, her many treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brothers Donie, John and Joe, sisters Claire and Sarah, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Molly will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Rathfarnham on Tuesday, 2nd. May, 2023 from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10am in the Church of Sts. Columbanus and Gall, Milltown at 10am on Wednesday 3rd. May 2023 followed by burial at Bohernabreena Cemetery.
