Following on from a successful inaugural year, Laois Pride has been announced for a second series of events.
Laois Pride parade and festival will take place from September 4-10 in Portlaoise.
Laois Pride has been organised by Midlands LGBT+ Project, the only dedicated adult LGBT+ support service of its kind in the Midlands.
They hold regular support and social groups and if anyone needs any support, they are welcome to reach out to them.
A spokesperson for Laois Pride explained what people can look forward to in 2023.
They said: “The week will be filled with events, parties, workshops and more.
“Showcasing the incredible diversity and inclusivity that we are proud of in Laois and celebrating our LGBT+ community.
“On Saturday September 9, Laois Pride Parade and family friendly festival will take place all day with incredible performances and acts which will be announced over the coming weeks and months.”
