Mateusz Orlowski, Buttercup Avenue, Esker Hills, Portlaoise, 1st April 2023, after a brief illness, aged 6. To the inexpressible grief of his parents, Ewa Skalska and Mariusz Orlowski. Dearly loved and cherished brother to Alekeandra (Ola), Anna and Franciszek (Frankie). Deeply loved by his grandparents, Anna and Zbigniew Orlowski, uncles, aunts, and cousins, also by all his school mates.
Reposing privately at Keegan’s funeral home. Requiem Mass will take place in SS Peter and Paul’s Church in Portlaoise at 12 noon on Tuesday and may be viewed on https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/
Private cremation will follow in Newlands Crematorium.
Michael Deevy
Clonlyon, Clonaslee, Laois
Michael Deevy, Clonlyon, Clonaslee, Co. Laois, died April 3rd in the loving care of the staff at Oak Dale Nursing Home, Portarlington, in his 97th year. Beloved son of the late Paddy and Majella Deevy. Deeply regretted by his cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Tuesday from 5pm until removal at 6.15pm to St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, arriving for 7pm. Requiem Mass Wednesday at 11am. Burial after in new cemetery Clonaslee.

Thomas (Tom) Lawlor
Ballyroan Road, Abbeyleix, Laois
Formerly of Shanahoe and New York. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. Predeceased by his beloved wife Brigid (“B”) and by his sisters Mary, Breda and Carmel. Deeply missed by his daughter Sheila, son Garret, adored grandson Alex, son-in-law Ciaran Toner, sisters Pat Lawlor and Judy Campbell, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, godchildren extended family and many friends.
Reposing at his residence on Tuesday, April 4th, from 3pm. to 6.30 pm. Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Shanahoe for prayers at 7.30 pm. Removal to the Chapel of repose adjoining the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix thereafter. Removal to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary on Wednesday for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Abbeyleix District Hospital. Condolences can be left on the online link below.
