Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise has announced the appointment of Olivia Lafferty as the new Interim Director of Nursing of the hospital.
Olivia takes up the post with over 20 years’ experience in hospital and community services.
From Cullohill, Olivia trained in Intellectual Disability Nursing in Moore Abbey, Monasterevin followed by General Nursing in Tralee General Hospital.
Having worked in Tallaght University Hospital and St Luke’s General Hospital Kilkenny, Olivia began working in Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise in 2016 in the position of Assistant Director of Nursing in Medical Service. Most recently she held the role of Quality Risk and Patient Safety Manager.
