An internationally renowned singer is set to appear at a fundraising concert for a Laois secondary school later this month.
British singer and musical theatre actress Rebecca Storm is to perform alongside the school choir from St Fergal’s College in Rathdowney.
Some individual students will also take to the stage on what promises to be an excellent night.
Rebecca Storm is most notable for her various performances in stage musicals and for her 1985 hit single “The Show”, which was the theme to the ITV television series Connie.
Rebecca has has been the leading lady in numerous musicals including Aspects of Love, Chess, Evita, Blood Brothers and many more.
She previously appeared at this concert back in 2018 and it was a huge success.
The concert will take place in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney on Friday, March 31, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced at €25 and are on sale in the school office during school hours from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm.
They are also on sale in The Card Stand shop in Rathdowney which is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 8pm and Sunday 9am to 7pm.
Anyone who buys a ticket will also be entered into a draw for a door prize on the night where there will be a €100 Blue Book Voucher, €50 cash and €25 cash up for grabs.
