Gabriel Brophy, Johnstown Glebe, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. February 26th 2023. Suddenly and peacefully at home. Predeceased by his Mam and Dad and his brothers John and Anthony. Sadly missed by his fiancée Veronica and her son Johnaton, brother Ted and his partner Maise, brother Declan and his wife Mary,His sisters, Sr. Phyllis, Elsie and her husband Billy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 o’clock in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney (www.parishwebsites.ie/rathdowney) followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Tragically in Taumarunui, New Zealand. Predeceased by his beloved Nanny Ev and Granddad Tommy. Sorely missed by his heartbroken family, parents Tom and Julie and sister Ella, Granny Mary, Granddad Jerry, Godparents Ger and Claire, Godson Charlie, aunts Donna, Elaine, Nicola, Emma, Liz, Stephanie and Natascha, uncles Paul, James, Martin, Glynn, Eddie and Barry, cousins Jack, Chloe, Lorna, Oran, Chloe, Kizzie, Cian, Rachel, Caleb, Laoise, Arran. Roisin, Aoibhinn, Eabha, Saoirse, Frankie, Charlie, Anna, Culainn, Kayla and Taylor and a wide circle of relatives and friends.
Provisional arrangements are that he will repose at his residence on Thursday and Friday evening with Funeral Mass on Saturday. This will be confirmed on Wednesday with the appropriate times. Seán’s family have requested that the house remain private from Monday to Wednesday please. Thank you for your understanding at this time.
Colette Delaney (née Metcalfe)
Abbeyleix Road, Portlaoise, Laois
Colette Delaney (née Metcalfe) Abbeyleix Road, Portlaoise passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her mother Josephine and her father John Metcalfe. Loving wife to Denis. Cherished mother to Joanne, John, Tony, Brian and Caroline. Sister to William.
Deeply regretted by her loving family and her adored grandchildren David, Daniel, Shane, Alex, Emma and Rebecca, her daughters-in-law Andrea, Siobhan and Liz and her sons-in-law Shane and Hugh. Sadly missed by her relatives and friends.
Removal from her residence on Tuesday morning to arrive at St Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 12noon Requiem Mass.
A private cremation will take place on a later date. House strictly private please.

Pat, beloved brother of the late Bill and Tom. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Carmel (nee Burke), son Tommy, daughter Caitriona Creed, son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Stephanie, grandchildren Sarah, Darragh, Cillian, Lucy and Emily, sisters Ann Flynn, Esther Conway, Kit Flynn and Sarah Ellis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Home this Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel at 2.30pm and can be viewed on https://churchcamlive.ie/cashel-parish-stream/ followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
