The death has occurred of Ben (Benjamin) McEvoy of 15 Wolfe Tone Court / Emmet Street, Mountmellick, peacefully in the care of Portlaoise Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Cherished Father to Anne, Linda, Sharon & Michelle. Sadly missed by sons-in-law John Joe, Ron and Bernard, grandchildren Ciarán, Eóin, Thomas, Bernard, Siobhán, Tristan, Kate and Éille, sisters Angela, Pauline & Maria, brother Frank.
Ben is pre-deceased by his adored wife Maureen, sister Betty, brothers Michael, Sean, Oliver & Joe.
Ben is fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, sisters in law, cousins, extended family, friends, previous work colleagues & neighbours.
Reposing at his home 15 Wolfe Tone Court on Sunday evening from 5pm, Rosary at 7pm. Removal from his home on Monday at 10.20am to St Joseph’s Church Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Acragar, Mountmellick.

Breda Kelly (née Hosey)
12 Kilkenny Road, Ballylinan, Laois, R14 RX07/Athy, Kildare
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of Naas General Hospital. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Mick, sons Michael, Mark, Shane and Andrew, daughters Sharon and Emma, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Caitlin, Nathan, Lucy, Sam, Óisin, JoJo, Charlie, Gabby, Ollie and Michael, sisters, brothers, extended family and good neighbours.
Reposing at her residence on Wednesday evening (February 15th) from 6pm with Rosary at 7.30pm and also Thursday with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal at 11.30am on Friday morning to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Ballylinan.

Denis Cullen, Royal Court, Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois. February 14th. 2023. Peacefully in the loving care of the Matron and staff at the Villa Marie Nursing Home, Roscrea. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann, sons Paul and Aidan, brother Christopher, daughters in law, grandson Noah, brother in law Michael, sisters in law Carmel and Breda, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown (EirCode R32 TN84) this Wednesday evening (Feb. 15th.) from 6.30 o’c with prayers at 8.00 o’c.
A Private Cremation will take place.

Fingleton Bridget. Park Stradbally. Co. Laois. (R32R7N) February 14th 2023 Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Fingleton. Predeceased by her sisters Lila and Mary and infant brother William. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers Jimmy, Tommy, Michael, Anthony and Paddy, sisters Kit, Nelly Heery and Anne Sheehan, brothers in law Lorcan and Pat, sisters in law Phil, Eileen, and Mary, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence from 2.30 pm on Wednesday with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Stradbally for 11 am requiem Mass. Interment will follow in Ratheniska Cemetery.
