The Laois Open Door Theatre Group is gearing up to present “It’s the real McCoy” by Tommy Marren in the Dunamaise Arts Centre.
The show will take place across two nights on Friday February 24 and Saturday February 25 at 8pm.
The comedy is set in the West of Ireland in the 1960’s. It centres around Madge Molly.
She has not only to contend with nosey neighbours but other problems as well, such as a wayward husband who wants to explain why he vanished without trace 40 years earlier!
It is directed by Eadaoin O’Connell and the set construction / design is done by Dan Holohan.
Vikki Byrne, Sarah O’Sullivan, Aaron Shiel, Dermot Muldowney, Aoife Fingleton, Jane Doheny and Michael Creagh will be the lead actors and there is no doubt that they will put on a show.
This is the first time Laois open door theatre are back on stage after a covid enforced break so there will be huge expectation for them to put on a brilliant performance.
Tickets can be purchased from the box office Dunamaise Arts Centre.
