Talk about a stellar line up of stars!
Nine-time All Ireland-winning hurler Tommy Walsh, Waterford legend Dan Shanahan and Westmeath great Dessie Dolan are among the guests confirmed for GAA sports debate evening evening in Clonaslee this Saturday, January 21.
Laois ladies footballer Aisling Donoher, local soccer star Emily Corbet and former All Ireland hurling final referee Brian Gavin are also confirmed guests
The Clonaslee-St Manman’s GAA club are in the middle of organising an OsKaRs fundraiser, a film-themed event where various local groups professionally reanact a famous TV scene which is shown at a function in the Tullamore Court Hotel on Friday, January 27.
All the groups have a minimum fundraising target – which is met by organising a series of smaller events.
And the ‘Derry Girls’ group are hosting a GAA Sports Debate in the community hall in Clonaslee this Saturday.
Getting underway at 6.30pm and presented by Steven Miller from LaoisToday, it promises to be an evening of wonderful entertainment and insight.
Entry to the event is €20 while there is also a raffle where there is a selection of brilliant prizes.
