Francis passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his residence in Glongowen, Co. Kilkenny. Sadly missed by his heart broken parents Karl and Fiona. Dearly missed by his loving brothers and sisters, Shaun, Rebecca, Abigail, Robyn, Jorja, Tadgh, Poppy, Fíonn and Reaghen, his much loved partner Jessica and her daughter Holly, his nieces and nephews Aida, Cuan, Amara and Tobias, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home in Ballymaddock R32N281 from 3pm on Thursday with recital of the Rosary at 8pm Thursday evening. Removal on Friday by Whelehan Funeral Director’s at 11.15am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church Stradbally for 12 noon Requiem mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale cemetery. House private on Friday morning please.
Margaret ( Peggy) Brennan (née Ives)
7 Church Avenue, Stradbally, Laois
Peggy passed away peacefully in her 93rd year in the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
Predeceased by her husband Micky and her daughter Rose Mary. Sadly missed by her sons and daughters, Michael, Elizabeth, Martin, Tommy, Marie and Patrick, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at her son Martin and daughter in law Mary’s residence R32H2X9 Ashtrees, Stradbally, from 4pm on Tuesday with recital of the Rosary at 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday morning at 10.30am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church Stradbally for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in Oakvale Cemetery. House private on Thursday morning, please. The Brennan family would like to thank you for your support during this sensitive and difficult time.

Peacefully. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Teresa and brother Kevin. Beloved brother of Hugh, Noel, Michael, Mary, Bernadette and Teresa and loving uncle of Fiona, Nicola and Brian and dear brother-in-law of Mae. Sadly missed by his loving family, relatives, staff and fellow residents of Peamount.
Reposing at Peamount Hospital Chapel on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm and on Tuesday morning from 9am until 2pm. Reposing at his brother Michael’s residence Lea, Portarlington (eircode R32 Y2H9) on Tuesday evening from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 11:15am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Peacefully, at her home, in the presence of her loving family. Pre-deceased by her parents Edward and Anne, her brother Johnny and her sister Mary Whyte. Sadly missed by her sisters Bernie Cahill, Bridie Maher, Josie Walsh, Eily Ardren, brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Funeral procession will be leaving her home on the New Road, Portlaoise, at 6pm on Tuesday to arrive at St. Peter & Paul’s Church for 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, followed by interment in St.Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.

The death has taken place of Joseph Vincent (Joe) Foley, Rock Road, Mallow and formerly of Portlaoise, who passed away peacefully on January 15th 2023, in the presence of his family at Mallow General Hospital. Predeceased by his brothers Fr. Frank O.S.B. and David, sisters Kathleen (Solon), Alice (Holt) and Peggy (Brennan). Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Martin Dunne Tinnahinch, Clonaslee, Co. Laois, died 14th of January 2023, peacefully, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Past employee of Standex, Mountmellick.
Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Dunne Augha, Tinnahinch, Clonaslee. Sadly missed by his loving partner Marian Murphy, his brother Ger, sisters Mary, Alice, Brighid (Bridgie), Angela (Angie), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and many friends.
