Operation Transformation mania continues to sweep Laois and attention will turn to Portlaoise this week.
Every episode of the hit show features an ‘ad-break hero’ and the latest one is Treacy Percy from Portlaoise.
Treacy does lots of fantastic work in the Laois community with several disability groups.
She is also a member of the Laois Sports Partnership board and is a prominent figure at their events.
The Civic Plaza in Portlaoise, located near the Laois County Council building, will be the location this time.
Filming starts at 7pm though you’re advised to be there in good time.
Treacy will be the third Laois person to have their story told on the Operation Transformation show.
Episode one featured Stradbally businesswoman Ann Simpson who explained her love of exercise.
While a huge crowd turned up in Vicastown last week for the challenge that will be broadcast on Wednesday’s episode.
Oughaval Athletic Club’s Paddy McLoughlin teamed up with Karl Henry for the latest exercise challenge.
Paddy only laced up his first pair of runners at 50 and hasn’t stopped running since, enjoying much success in distance and Cross Country running.
