Gardaí have confirmed that 17-year-old Stephen Cawley has been found safe and well.
The teenager had been missing from the Mountmellick area for almost a week.
Gardai confirmed the good news in a statement recently.
They said: “Stephen Cawley (17) who was reported missing from the Mountmellick area of Co. Laois, since Tuesday, 27th December 2022, has been located safe and well.
“Gardaí would like to thank the pubic and the media for their assistance with this matter.”
