Flood (née Armstrong), Dora (Doe) (Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Rathfarnham) 29th December 2022 (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in Tallaght Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Charles and loving mam to Caroline, Garry, Alan, Mark and Brian; Doe will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving family, daughter, sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, son-in-law, partners, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral home, The Square, Tallaght (opp Tallaght Stadium) on Tuesday (3rd January) from 4pm to 6pm. A Service to celebrate Doe’s life will take place on Wednesday (4th January) at 2:30pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium followed by cremation.

Reposing at his daughter Sarah’s home in, 24 Dolmen Way, Pappintree, Ballymun, on Monday from 6:00pm. Requiem mass on Tuesday in the Virgin Mary Church, Shangan Rd at 10:00am. Burial afterwards in Killenard Cemetery, Co. Laois.

Josephine O’Rourke fondly known as Heenie Twoomey, Park, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, died December 30th 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jack and predeceased by her dear sister Frances (Martin) Tullamore.
Deeply regretted by her sons Alan and his partner Anne and Trevor and his partner Adrianne, grandchildren, sisters Pat Kerins and Ann Horan and her husband Tom, brothers Jim & Ben, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Tuddles (Comerford) brothers-in-law Bernie & James, neighbours, relatives and her many dear friends.

PRENDERGAST (née Whelan) (Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and late of Rathdowney, Co. Laois) – December 28th 2022 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Cairnhill Nursing Home. Phyllis; dearly beloved wife of Jim, much loved mother of Denise and Tom. Sadly missed by her loving husband, children, daughter-in-law Cathy, grandchildren Liam and Ciara, sister Theresa, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Beloved daughter of the late John and Katie Barrett died December 27th 2022 in The Loving care of the staff at St.Brigid’s Community Nursing Home, Shaen, Co Laois.
Predeceased by her brother Paul and niece Mary. Wife of Michael McHugh. Deeply regretted by her sons John Joe and his wife Mary, Michael Anthony and his partner Sharon, Thomas Patrick and his partner Leona, grandchildren Isobel, Roise, Iarlaith, Ellamae and Sonny, brothers John (U.K.) and Michael (Scotland), sisters Kathleen Linane and Sadie Monaghan, brother-in-law Martin, nieces and nephews, neighbours, relatives and her many friends.

Maureen’s funeral Cortège will arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glencastle on Saturday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment will take place afterwards in Glencastle Old Cemetery.

Dillon Joseph Kidney – Quinn 53 Willow Grove, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, aged 2, died unexpectedly on Monday 26th December surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly missed by his loving parents Ann and Gavin, big brothers Tyler and Daragh, big sister Hannah, grandparents Martin and Marie, Joe and Marion, aunts, uncles and cousins, great grandmother, a wide circle of family and friends.

Ronan Culleton peacefully passed away on 28th December in Beaumoumt Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Ronan is deeply missed by his loving wife Joanna, his adoring daughters Aoife, Aisling and Aoibheann; his parents Mary and Pat, his sister Maria, mother-in-law Bernie, brother-in-law James, sister-in-law Julie, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by his father-in-law Jimmy Gallagher.

Kathleen Hogan (née Galvin)

Peacefully yet unexpectedly at St. Vincent’s University Hospital in her ninety-sixth year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Brendan and her grandson Kienan.
Loving mother to Kevin, Ray, Brendan and Caitriona. Very sadly missed by her family, daughter-in-law Tracy and Fiona, treasured grandchildren Eoin, Lorcan (Sinead) Kate (Barry) Sinead, Ben and Jack, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Kathleen will repose at home on Friday 30th December from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10am on Saturday 31st December in the Church of The Blessed Virgin Mary of the Miraculous Medal, Bird Avenue (D14 VP11) followed by burial at St. Fergal’s Cemetery, Camross, Co.
