A return to normality was the buzzword in early spring as March witnessed the first St Patrick’s Day parade in Clonaslee for two long years.
The community of Clonaslee was all set to have their first ever St Patrick’s Day parade on March 17 2020.
The small matter of a global pandemic meant that it had to be pulled and the world was turned on its head for two years.
But as things returned to normal early this year, the hard-working group behind the Clonaslee St Patrick’s Day parade got down to business once again.
And no stone was left unturned in making their inaugural parade a success.
The village at the foothills of the Slieve Blooms was a hive of activity today as all sorts of community groups came together to take part.
It was a brilliant occasion with locals lining the streets to watch on.
