Eddie Dunne, Davitt Road, Mountmellick. Died November 24th, unexpectedly in the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore. Deeply regretted by his loving family, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

O’Connor, Gerard, Maryborough Village, Portlaoise and late of Station House, Portlaoise. 23rd November 2022. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Gerry and brother Patrick. Peacefully after a short illness. Deeply regretted by his loving partner Rose and her son Kyle. Dearly loved brother to Emer, Eamon, Sinéad, and and Twin sister Margaret, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, Uncle , aunt .relatives and friends. Also his many friends and colleagues in Iarnród Eireann.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Friday from 4.30 pm with rosary at 6 pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 12 noon requiem mass on Saturday. Catherine Quigley (née Whelan)
Rockdale, Portlaoise, Laois
Quigley, Catherine (nee Whelan) Rockdale, Portlaoise 24th Nov. 2022 Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. After a short illness. Beloved wife of Kevin. Dearly loved mother to Selene, Siobhán, Ronán, also Noreen. Cherished grandmother to Sophie, JJ, Oscar and Joshua. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers Liam, David and Michael, sisters Bernadette, Franzita and Patricia, sons in law John and David, daughter in law Claire , brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, her many foster children and godchildren.

Kitty Quinlan (née Moore)
Gilroy Avenue, Edenderry, Offaly / Borris-in-Ossory, Laois
Late of Moneymore, Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois. Peacefully, aged 95 surrounded by her loving family in the care of Ofalia House, Nursing Home, Edenderry. Predeceased by her husband Phil. Kitty will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her loving family; Bridget (Tyrrell), Liz (Luke), Jim, Catherine (Dunphy), Marian (Hicks), Philomena (Ellway), Carmel (Quinn), Declan, John, Louise (Mangan) and Martina (Harris), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law Kitty and Ann, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Ethel Shaw (née Walker)

SHAW (née Walker), Ethel, (Glasnevin, Dublin, formerly of Blackrock, Dublin and Portarlington, Co. Laois) on 21st November 2022, aged 97 years, (peacefully) at home. A lady of many words, kind-hearted and warm, with a great sense of humour. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Dearly loved and very sadly missed by her sons and daughters, Tony (wife Martina), Helena (who cared for Ethel and Jim at home), Jimmy, Brenda (husband John Beausang) and Graham (partner Andrea Schwemmer). Devoted grandmother of Luke, Joe, Rebecca and Finnen. Also missed by her brother-in law Liam, sisters-in-law Ann, Eileen and Ida, extended family, carers, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, D09 C8P5, on Thursday evening, November 24th, from 7pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning, November 25th, at 10am at the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin (near Botanic Gardens), followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium at 11.30am approximately.

The death has occurred of Bill Sherlock, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Trinity Hospice, Clapham.
Remembered with love and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Olive (Joyce), his sister Bridie, his brother Mick, his sisters in law, brothers in law, goddaughter, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents, his sister Helen and brother in law Ron.

ARCHBOLD Fr. Sean (John J) OMI November 17th, 2022, late of St Patrick’s Basilica Fremantle W Australia and formerly of Belcamp College Dublin, St. Michael’s Parish Inchicore, House of Retreat Inchicore, and Portlaoise Co Laois. Peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of the staff at Joseph Cooke House Nursing Home, Perth W Australia. Sean was predeceased by his parents Richard (Dick) and Annie and brothers Tom and Frank. Sadly missed by his sister Ann, brother Noel, brother-in-law, sisters- in- law, nieces, nephews grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great- grandnieces.
Fr. Sean’s funeral will be streamed live from St Patrick’s Basilica Fremantle on Monday, November 28th, 2022, commencing at 5.45am Irish time with burial thereafter in the Oblate plot in Fremantle Cemetery.
