Aspiring hurling and camogie coaches can avail of a coaching clinic that is taking place just down the road in Moneygall GAA club this coming Monday, October 31.
On Bank Holiday Monday (October 31) at noon, Moneygall GAA club on the Tipp/Offaly border will be the hosts as Kilkenny legend Eddie Brennan, former Limerick star Niall Moran, and ex-Tipp defender Paddy Stapleton will each lead coaching sessions for those in attendance.
Organised by the Our Game GAA broadcast show, this will be the latest coaching workship held around the country following previous events in Naas, Dublin, Belfast and Longford.
Tickets are €40 each, while there is also a bundle offer of six tickets for the price of five.
The workshop will begin with a quick briefing to discuss what will be covered on the day, while aspiring coaches will be asked if there are any areas they would like to touch on.
Throughout, there will be opportunities to ask questions and get feedback.
The coaches will each run a 40-minute practical coaching session designed to upskill aspiring coaches of all levels about the crucial elements of the game.
They will then run on-field drills and games to show how to apply these elements with your team.
They will focus on multiple aspects of the game — including tackling, shooting, tactics, defence, attack, playing with tempo, and much more.
Players will be in attendance to exhibit the drills.
It will be a dynamic, insightful event with men who have won all the major titles in the game, and will no doubt help you become a better coach.
