Orla Doran
Palmerstown, Dublin/Laois
Doran Orla (Palmerstown and Arranmore, St. John of God, Islandbridge) passed peacefully on September 30th, 2022, at St. James’s Hospital.
Dearly beloved daughter of Helen and John. Orla will be forever loved by her brother Fergal, sisters Aoife, Sinead and Niamh, nephew Tadhg, nieces Saoirse and Mathilda, brother in law Seb, aunts, uncles, cousins and the extended Doran and Hegarty families, her friends and all the wonderful staff at Islandbridge who have cared for Orla over the years.

Peter Keenan
Dublin 7, Dublin/Portlaoise, Laois
Peter Keenan (Aughrim Court and late of Finn Street, Dublin 7 – Portlaoise and N.E.M Insurance) passed away peacefully at St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Beloved son of the late John and Annie Keenan. He will be sadly missed by his cousins, good friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7, on Sunday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Peter’s Funeral Mass will take place at 10am on Monday morning in The Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street, with cremation afterwards at Glasnevin Crematorium.

MaryAnn Lynch (née Clear)
Capard, Rosenallis, Laois
Mary Ann Lynch, Capard, Rosenallis, Co. Laois, R32VE06. Died September 30th 2022. Predeceased by her brother, Paddy, brother-in-law Larry Lynch, sister in law Maureen Clear. Beloved wife of Dan and dear mother of Kathleen and Orla. Deeply regretted by her husband, daughters, sons-in-law John & Gene, Grandchildren Lexi, Aoife, Elva, Sìomha, Cloda & Sean. Brother Mick Clear, nephews Micheal, Pauric & Noel Clear, family relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing at her home Saturday evening, 1st October 2022 from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral on Sunday morning after 11am Requiem Mass in St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis with burial afterwards in St.Brigid’s Cemetery, Rosenallis. House Private Please Sunday morning.
Philomena Gorman (née Dooley)
Colliers Lane, Kilminchy, Portlaoise, Laois/Rosenallis, Laois
Phil died peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Formerly of Barrow House, Rosenallis. Beloved wife of the late Jim and much loved mother of Mary, John, Padraig, Seamie, Bernie and Anne. Very sadly missed by her loving family, daughters in law Angela, Riona and Mary Claire, grandchildren Sean, Emer, Sinead, Caoimhe, Aoife, Sarah, Hannah and Sophia, sister Bridie, sisters in law May and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her residence in Colliers Lane, Portlaois, from 4pm on Friday with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaois, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, which can be viewed athttps://www.portlaoisparish.ie Burial afterwards in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery Portlaois.
Jim Brennan
Brownstown, The Curragh, Kildare/Laois
BRENNAN James (Jim) Brownstown, The Curragh, Co. Kildare and late of the Rushes, Co. Laois (Retd. Sergeant Major, Military College, The Curragh, where he served for 40 years) – 28th September 2022 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh with his family by his side.
Jim, predeceased by his loving wife Betty; sadly missed by his loving daughters Lilly, Bernadette, Margaret, Brigid and Mary, son Patrick, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Molly, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s Funeral Home, Newbridge on Thursday from 4pm until 7.30pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, The Curragh for 11am Mass with funeral afterwards to Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft.

Alan Kehoe
Boughlone, Portlaoise, Laois
Alan Kehoe. Suddenly abroad. Beloved son of Anne and the late David. Much loved brother of David and the late Rachel (McCarthy). Sadly missed by his brother in law Sean Óg, sister in law Rosaleen, nieces, nephew, extended family, relatives and friends.
Alan’s ashes, at his request will be scattered privately by his family.
