People from all over the world descended upon Stradbally once again as Laois Ploughing hosted members of the World Ploughing association.
Stradbally Hall is no stranger to hosting people from foreign lands – doing so just three weeks ago for Electric Picnic.
And Thomas Cosby was on hand again to open his home for this dinner and chat.
The National and World Ploughing Championships will take place in Ratheniska this week.
The action gets underway on Tuesday and will last for three days with around 100,000 people expected to attend each day.
With the weather forecast good, the crowds are expected for the first full event since 2019.
This event had good food, good music and good craic – something you can expect to see plenty of on Tuesday.
Photographer Alf Harvey was present at the event in Stradbally Hall.
