Scoil Chríost Rí have announced that two students achieved the maximum points of 625 in this morning’s Leaving Cert results.
In a phenomenal year for the school, 65% of their Leaving Certificate Applied students achieved a Distinction as their overall grade.
Sarah Tuohy from Vicarstown is one of the girls who achieved the maximum points of 625. Sarah intends to study Global Business with French at DCU.
The other is Orla Marie Hennessy from Killenard who also achieved the stunning maximum result of 625. She intends to study dentistry in UCC.
There were several other outstanding results too including Eleanor Healy who achieved 613 points and hopes to study Pharmacy.
Ella Byrne achieved 601 points and intends to study Physics while Eva Keyes achieved 579 points and hopes to study primary teaching.
Ashanti Fragante and Anastasija Gordejeva received 589 points and 601 points respectively. Both girls hope to study Medicine at third level.
Helen O’Donnell, School Principal at Scoil Chríost Rí, congratulated the staff, the students and their parents.
She said: “Once again, we are all incredibly proud of the outstanding achievements of our students who have achieved very high grades in all their subjects.
“They will be thrilled considering the tough Covid times that everyone experienced.”
