Died peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of the Midlands Hospital, Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his wife Josephine, daughters Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth and Joan, sons Michael, Brian and James, sons-in-law Timmy and Brendan, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandchildren Katie, Claire, Rachel, Joseph, Elizabeth, Liam, Niamh, Ciara, Lily, Conor, Darragh, Aoife and Mark, family and friends.
Reposing at his daughter Mary’s residence , Aughanure, Ballylinan, R14 V299 from 2pm on Sunday afternoon (May 22nd) with Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Monday morning at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
Laurence (Larry) White
Knockiel, Rathdowney, Laois
Laurence (Larry) White, Knockiel, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. May 21st 2022. Peacefully at The Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick. Predeceased by his parents Larry and Eileen and his sister Frances (Bowe). Sadly missed by his brother Michael, brother-in-law Paddy and all his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at O’ Sullivan’s Funeral Home Rathdowney on Monday evening from 6:30 with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10am in The Church Of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney followed by interment in Bealady Cemetery.
Nancy Mahony (née Kenny)
Chapel St, Durrow, Laois
Peacefully, at her residence. Wife of the late Larry and mother of the late Eilish. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Fiona and son Lorcan, daughter in law Jackie, son in law Martin, brother in law, sister in law, grandchildren Anna, Maria, Orla, Tony and Aishling, nieces, nephews, god daughter Esther, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Phelan’s Funeral Home Durrow from 4.00pm on Sunday afternoon with Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal from her residence on Monday morning to Holy Trinity Church Durrow for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
