Mary (Minnie) Delaney (née Flanagan)
Derryroe, Mountrath, Laois
Mary (Minnie) Delaney, nee Flanagan, Derryroe, Mountrath,R32 T9W6 died May 5th. Peacefully in her 98th year at home in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Matt, sons Joe and Matt, brothers Mick, Eamonn, Jim and Tom, sister Rita. Deeply regretted by her loving son Jer, daughters Mary and Rita, brother Joe, sister Cathy (Nolan), daughters in law Tess, Mary and good friend Sadie, grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors and friends.
Reposing in her home today, Friday, for family and friends. Reposing on Saturday from 2pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. All are very welcome to visit. Removal on Sunday at 11.30am to St. Brigid’s Church, Shanahoe, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery. House private please on Sunday morning.
Denis Connor
Clonenagh, Mountrath, Laois
Denis Connor, Clonenagh, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 5th May 2022, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff at Brookhaven Nursing Home. Predeceased by his sister Mary, brothers John, Fintan and Stephen. Sadly missed by his sister Brigid (Delaney), brothers Bro. Charles S.J. and Michael, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath this Friday evening at 7.0’clock with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Saturday afternoon to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath for Requiem Mass at 3.0’clock, followed by Burial in Clonenagh Cemetery.
Michael Fitzpatrick
Grangemore, Borris-in-Ossory, Laois
Michael Fitzpatrick, Grangemore, Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois. May 4th 2022. Peacefully at his home in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Doris, Jim, Ann, Christy, Paddy and Catherine. Sadly missed by his beloved wife and best friend Eileen, daughter Michelle, sons Cormac and Enda, daughter-in-law Aoibhinn and Ann-Marie, grandchildren Aisling, Saoirse and Caoimhe, mother-in-law Mary, sister Mai, brother John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence on Friday evening from 4 o’clock with funeral prayers at 8 o’clock. Funeral mass in St. Kieran’s Church, Knockaroo on Saturday at 2pm followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only by request.
