A Laois primary school came together and raised almost €400 in aid of those impacted by the war in Ukraine recently.
Scoil Bhrìde, Mountrath, held a fundraising event on Friday March 25 to raise money for those affected by the war in Ukraine.
Pupils made beautiful blue and yellow decorations to hang up around the school.
While everyone wore something blue/yellow in solidarity with the Ukranian people.
Some of our girls in the senior classes also wrote letters of support to the children of Ukraine.
Doantions totaling €390.60 were collected on the day which was no mean feat for a school their size.
This money has been donated to the ISPCC who will distribute it to those most in need.
